Assigning and Uploading Soundtracks

Zenfolio now offers access to over 10,000 soundtracks from Triple Scoop Music!
 

A Soundtrack can be added to the Home page slideshow as well as gallery and collection slideshows.

Every Zenfolio account includes 50 royalty free soundtracks that can be used on Zenfolio web sites.

Soundtracks can be uploaded from your music collection as well. Uploaded tracks must not have digital rights management or protection applied.

Premium music collections of either 100 or all 10,000+ soundtracks can be added to Zenfolio subscriptions at an additional cost. For pricing details please see this page.

Previewing available Soundtracks

To help you decide which Soundtrack you prefer you can preview available tracks before using them or purchasing a music collection.

To preview any of the 50 free soundtracks:

  1. In Edit View, under the Organizer / Files & Resources, click on Soundtracks.
  2. In the Main Area click the link that reads Soundtracks from Triple Scoop Music. A pop-up window will load.
  3. From the menu on the left, click to select music from the Free (50) Soundtracks.
  4. From the Free (50) you can click the blue triangle Play button next to the track you are interested in previewing. To preview another track, click the orange Pause button.
  5. When finished previewing Soundtracks click Close.



Also, you can click on "Browse All Songs" to preview any the 10,000+ soundtracks that are available with the subscription of the full TSM library.

Purchasing an additional Soundtrack subscription

For pricing details please go to your Edit View homepage and click on "Manage Add-ons" under your Toolbox. .

  1. In Edit View under Files & Resources, click to select Soundtracks in the Organizer.
  2. In the Main Area click the link that reads Soundtracks from Triple Scoop Music. A pop-up window will load.
  3. Click to Browse All Songs
  4. Then Click the Upgrade Now button
  5. You will be able to select either the TSM 100 collection (100 songs) or the TSM 10K collection (10,000+ songs)

An Additional Service window will load. Follow the steps required to register and pay for your subscription.
 

Previewing and Selecting available Triple Scoop Music Soundtracks

You can preview All 10,000+ songs and if you subscribe to the TSM 10K collection (10,000+ songs)  you can select these additional soundtracks for your slideshows. From the Edit View of your homepage, you can Customize your Visitor View ad follow these steps to preview and select a soundtrack:

  1. After clicking Soundtracks, then Browse All Songs you will be able to select from several categories to narrow down your search and to find the appropriate soundtrack for your slideshows.
  2. Once you enter the music criteria you are looking for click Find Songs!
  3. You will then be able to click the play/arrow button next to the song title to listen to the song and to decide if the song is suitable for your slideshow
  4. If it is the right song for your slideshow click the Select button to assign the song as your slideshow's soundtrack!

 

Uploading a Soundtrack

You can upload music files in MP3 or AAC format without protection or DRM/digital rights management. For example, an iTunes purchase has digital rights management applied and cannot be used.

The maximum file size is 24 MB.

  1. In Edit View under Files & Resources, click to select Soundtracks in the Organizer.
  2. In the Main Area click the link that reads Upload New. A pop-up window will load.
  3. Click Choose File. A pop-up window will load.
  4. Select the desired audio file from your computer.
  5. Check the box that reads "I certify that I have the legal rights or the rights by agreement(s) to upload the attached music as a soundtrack and to authorize Zenfolio to make it available to viewers of my images."
  6. Click Upload.

Assigning an available Soundtrack to the Home page slideshow

  1. In Edit View, go to the HOME page.
  2. Locate the Show Visitor View » Customize link in the Top Menu of the Main Area.

If you are already in the Visitor View, move your mouse over the My Zenfolio View Switcher at the top of the visitor page. A menu will open with a list of items. Click to select Customize Visitor View.
Note: For Full screen homepage layouts the yellow customize toolbar will show BACKGROUND CONTENT and for Wide screen and Classic homepage layouts it will show SPOTLIGHT CONTENT.

  1. Click on BACKGROUND CONTENT or SPOTLIGHT CONTENT in the yellow customize toolbar. A popup window will open.
  2. Click on Set Options to find the Soundtrack drop list
  3. From the Soundtrack drop list choose Select Soundtrack and click on the Soundtrack you would like to use.
  4. Click Update. 
    ‚ÄčNote: A terms of use will pop up the first time you select one of the provided soundtracks and you will need to check the box that with the acknowledgment "I  have read and agree to the terms stated above". 
  5. Click Done to exit Customize Visitor View.
  6. When you are done customizing your Visitor View click the Publish link in the customize toolbar.


Note: To Pause a Soundtrack mouse over the slideshow and click on the speaker icon available in the Navigation Controller. Please keep in mind, if you hide these controls in your preferences your visitors will not have the option of pausing the Soundtrack.

Adding a Soundtrack to a Gallery/Collection slideshow

  1. In Edit View, select the Gallery or Collection you would like to customize in the Organizer.
  2. Locate the Show Visitor View » Customize link in the Top Menu of the Main Area.

If you are already in the Visitor View, move your mouse over the My Zenfolio View Switcher at the top of the visitor page. A menu will open with a list of items. Click to select Customize Visitor View.

  1. Click to select the Slideshow tab at the top of the page.
  2. Click to select Soundtrack from the Main Menu. A popup window will open.
  3. Click to select the Soundtrack collection you are interested in from the menu on the left.
  4. Highlight the Soundtrack you would like to use.
  5. Click Apply.
  6. Click Done to exit Customize Visitor View.
